DESCRIPTION OF the GEORGE & MARY FOUNDATION
The George and Mary Kremer Foundation was founded in 1985 by Mr. & Mrs. George Kremer, Jr. The Kremers recognized the many benefits that accrue to children educated in Catholic elementary schools. They created the Foundation to allow the less fortunate to share in the blessings of such an education. The sole purpose of the Foundation is to provide scholarship funding for needy children in elementary Catholic schools (grades Kindergarten through eight) throughout the continental United States.
The George and Mary Kremer Foundation Trust Agreement provides for an Advisory Board to select the Catholic elementary schools that receive the funding and distribution of the net income of the trust. The following individuals are the current members and officers of the Advisory Board:
